Welcome to
Watford S C School Of Swimming
Learn how to be confident and competent in the
water. Our swimming programme follows the Amateur Swimming Association's
(A.S.A) National Plan for teaching Swimming (N.P,T.S).
Stages 1-7 Fundamental Movement Skills.
Stages 8-10 Competitive Swimming Skills.
All teaching and coaching staff are CRB checked and A.S.A qualified.
A.S.A Award Scheme badges will be awarded throughout the course structure.
A special "School of Swimming" swim cap will be presented to each student.
School of Swimming classes will be available 50 weeks of the year.

Watford Swimming Club was formed in 1901
and has been teaching beginners to swim for 37 years. We run a Saturday school
at Rickmansworth run by Carol Rudge, ASA Tutor and her team of qualified
teachers.
Westfield School of Swimming manager Claire Houchin, ASA Tutor, with 40 years of
experience in the world of teaching. Claire also trains
swimming teachers and is a Lifeguard National Trainer Assessor and Diving
Teacher.
The S of S will give swimmers the skills and together with the desire, can
assist swimmers to reach their full potential in the water. We believe in
children being safe and happy in the water and this will be achieved with our team
of experienced teachers with a passion to teach and a love of swimming.
