A wonderful Presentation Evening was had by all last night as members and parents came together to celebrate our swimmers achievements for the past year.

Firstly we have to give a huge THANK YOU to all the people, who without their sterling effort and much of their own time, we couldn't hold such events..

so Raffle organisers, Wrappers, Buffet providers, certificate laminators, medal organisors and committee members behind the scenes we salute you!

All our swimmers recieved certificates for taking part in the Club Championships with the Top 3 in each catagory picking up medals. Trophies were awarded to the Age Group Champions and overall Club Swimmers of the Year.

9 & U Winners: Luke Flynn & Gemma Nottage

10-11 Winners: Lewis Shayler & Erin O'Meara

12-13 Winners: Devesh Kapoor & Fiona Holmes

14-15 Winners: Harrison Lees & Abi Green

16+ Winners: Ashley Holness Wright & Robyn Brett

The overall Championship Points winner went to Gemma Nottage- A superb performance.

Great performances guy's and ALL our swimmers should be proud of themselves for the effort they put in week in week out, not forgetting the Parents too. It's not always easy to keep up with the punishing schedule that a swimmer goes through but Boy, we give it a damn good job. Well done Parents!!

MUM & DAD Dancing award: A tight affair this year with two totally different styles to choose from. Mark Hines (and partner Isabella Peccei--who totally dominated) the more classical dance. Graham Hilsdon had the get up and partaaaaaaaaay approach. After much deliberation we have chosen Mark as he stepped up to the plate and matched Graham move for move in the unofficial "dance off". Also seen with their dancing feet on were Paul Sutton, Karen Craig, Gail Hines and Lyndsey Warne and Mateo Peccei, maybe contenders for 2016??

Club Swimmer's of the Year Trophies went to Harrison Lees and Abi Green. Both Qualified for Nationals this Year and fully deserve their accolades for the effort and dedication they put into their swimming. Great role models for the younger swimmers.

This Year the Club Captians were picked by Kelvin. To represent the Junior Members Fleur Hines and Ben Green were duly chosen and Sophie Burns and Harrison Lees were chosen to represent the Senior Squads. Good Luck and much success in your New Roles.

A Special mention goes out to Louis Hines for his recognition by the Borough of Watford for his Sporting Achievements. This coinciding with the ASA's confirmation of his S14 classification. Well done Louis and may you have continued success on your exciting journey.

Erin O'Meara and Ben Green  should also be congratulated for being chosen to attend the English & Regional Pathway training Camps this year, again great recognition for their efforts this year.

The Club is in transition with exciting times ahead. Come the New Year restructuring of squads will take place and Kelvin, Josie, Kat, Claire and all the other coaches will carry on their excellent work. Let us all get behind them and our swimmers and see Watford Swimming Club grow to a place where it belongs!! Onwards and Upwards into 2016 !!!!
