Section 1: Saturday Swim Lessons
Squad Coach: Carol Rudge
The Club run a swim school on
Saturday mornings at Rickmansworth School, Rickmansworth from 9.00 to 12.00.
This is for complete beginners, both children and adults, for full details
please phone Carol Rudge, 01923 772079.
Aims: We aim to improve the pupils strokes and
skills through each of the teaching bays until they reach a standard that will
enable them to join the main swimming club if they wish.
Fees : £4.90 per 30 minute session,
payable by course. Cheques payable to WATFORD SWIMMING CLUB
Awards: Assessment is continuous
throughout the course and pupils are informed when they achieve a level and
badges may be ordered.
Times: Courses take place on Saturday
mornings during normal term times.

Section 2a: Basic skill development squad
Club Night: The basic skill development squad swim at 6-7pm at Westfield School on Wednesday Nights. The other session offered to these swimmers is Sunday 5-6pm at The Bill Everett Centre
Aims for the squad:
We aim to improve the pupils strokes and skills and introduce them to increased work levels to build up general fitness and stamina.

Section 2b: Intermediate Skill Development Squad
Squad Coach: Paul Jones
Club Night: The Intermediate skill development squad swim Mon 6.30-7.30 at Rickmansworth, Wed 7.00-8.00 at Westfield, Fri 6.00-7.00 at Westfield and Sunday 6-7pm at The Bill Everett Centre.
Aims for the squad: To build on the stroke work and skills including starts and turns. To improve on general fitness and stamina and introduce the swimmer to competitive level swimming through novice galas.

Section 2c: Advanced Skill Development Squad
Club Night: The Advanced skill development squad swim Mon 6.30-7.30 at Rickmansworth, Wed 7.00-8.00 at Westfield, Fri 6.00-7.00 at Westfield and Sunday 6-7pm at The Bill Everett Centre.
Aims
for the squad:
Working towards regular competition within the Herts league while building to
compete in the local county events. Swimmers will be required to swim
competitively for the club as selected.

Section 4: Top swimmer squad
Squad Coach: Terry Davies
Aims for the squad:
These swimmers are training to improve their personal goals and to improve at local, county or national level. Swimmers will be required to swim competitively for the club as selected.
Compulsory Kit List for Gala and Top Swimmer Squads:
Sections 5 & 6: Masters/Adults/Water Polo/Fitness Training/Club Swimmers
Aims for the squad:
To maintain or improve on personal achievements and to swim competitively for the club as required.
